In
this new millennium, we have set the following goals in our relationship
with Poland: Working to maintain the independence of Poland which, with the continued support of the Polish American Congress, struggled to make it a reality. Protecting democracy in Poland. Protecting the security of Polish borders by supporting NATO membership of all aspirant European nations, which meet NATO requirements. Supporting US-Polish trade relationships that are beneficial to both nations, as well as promoting business development in both countries. Promoting cultural and educational exchanges. Assisting the people of Poland in times of special need or disaster through the Polish American Congress Charitable Foundation (PACCF). |
